I think that you just hit on another problem we have and that is relying on the common sense of judges. IMO many don't have any at all.

    Rubber bands and hair ties...

I have found that if you wander far enough to either the Left or the Right, you find yourself emerging from the other side of things surrounded by some twisted version of your starting point, as though traveling along some aeternal Möbius strip. Perhaps Hegel's syntheses were little more than the point at which, having run as far and fast as possible to escape our point of origin, we find ourselves on the other side of the point where we began.

that wouldnt likely cause the rifle to fire over and over, as to get it tight enough it would have too much pressure to release again(guessing as i havent actually tested nor do i know the required pressure to fire)

There are many ways to "create" a semblance of full automatic fire, none of which is accurate....

even the selective fire(I believe it's a 3 round burst) on the M-16 and M-4 are not considered accurate shooting

Full Auto was so inaccurate that is the reason why the M16A2 was designed with the three round burst.... Full Rock and Roll put a lot of lead downrange but may or may not hit anything. 3 round burst on the other hand were manageable....for the most part...

Full automatic is mostly for suppressive fire or when you're targeting an area rather than a point. Columns of vehicles, groups of people, that sort of thing.
